At the Northern Shipyard, as part of the preparation of the Captain Breichman processor trawler of Project 170701 for launching, an operation was carried out to remove it from the boathouse to an open slipway.
Previously, the Captain Breichman processor trawler was freed from scaffolding and installed on a ship-carrying train consisting of high-capacity hydraulic trolleys. In about three hours, the ship was taken out of the boathouse and rolled onto an open slipway with the help of a transborder device. According to the shipbuilders, the operation to move the order required great care: due to its dimensions, the processor trawler passed almost end-to-end in the boathouse gate. Since three such vessels had already been brought to the slipway, there were no unforeseen problems with the fourth trawler.
During May, shipbuilders need to complete the formation of the superstructure sections, install the wheelhouse, fore and aft masts, install three deck cranes, bottom parts of fishing equipment and trawl arcs, finish painting the hull. After these works are completed, the order will be transferred to the dock. The launching of the trawler "Captain Breichman" is scheduled for the end of May – beginning of June.
A series of fishing trawlers-processors of unlimited sea navigation project 170701, being built by the Northern Shipyard for the NOREBO Group, consists of ten vessels, six of them will operate in the Northern Basin, and four in the Far East. For the first time, a new hull architecture has been applied for Russian fishing vessels — a capsule-shaped shape of the bow contours with an Enduro Bow type tip. This allows you to increase the area of the working space on board and improve seaworthiness.
