"I congratulate you on the 77th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War," sounds the usual greeting of servicemen, to which a loud "Hurrah!" is heard.
Festive volleys of several guns are a special decoration of this parade. This can only be seen here. The beauty and pride of Syria are elite units of the Syrian army, including sailors in full dress uniform. Fur hats, snow—white uniforms, white gloves and boots of the same color - the uniform of the naval units of the Syrian army seems unusual.
The best cadets and sailors were selected for the parade — the hope of the country. In total, 1,200 servicemen of Russia and Syria are involved in this seventh festive parade. Most of them participated in military operations on the territory of a friendly state.
Marines (black berets) or paratroopers (blue berets) are represented by the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. A separate front box is represented by military police officers. It is these guys who are entrusted with a wide variety of functions: from issuing humanitarian kits to escorting convoys of military personnel and equipment.
Roman is a hereditary military man. He proudly tells about the feat of his great-grandfather and grandfather, who volunteered for the front in one day during the Great Patriotic War.
"It is very important for us to take part in the military Victory parade, as we are proud of the generation of our grandfathers, great—grandfathers who fought, including my great—grandfather and great-great-grandfather - son and father, they went to the front together. My great-grandfather was a scout, was wounded by a sniper in the hand, lucky to be alive. They went through the war together, returned home in the victorious 45th year. We built a house, in general, everything turned out well. We are proud that we honor their memory here, the memory of the Great Victory," Roman said.
Many participants of today's parade rehearsal have already participated in such an event. But not to the military girls. They are participating in the parade for the first time.
After the servicemen, there is a queue of military equipment: armored Tigers, Typhoons—K, the latest modification of the BTR-82A, T-92A tanks - all the equipment that the Russian Armed Forces are rightfully proud of.
And also — the Iskander-M missile system, which has mobility, firing range and accuracy of hitting almost any targets, the Pantsir-S, which is capable of hitting any air targets and fighting lightly armored ground vehicles and enemy manpower.
The parade ends with the traditional and most famous song about the Great Patriotic War "Victory Day" by composer David Tukhmanov to the words of Vladimir Kharitonov.
