Two air detachments hit the village of Zhecha in the border area of the Bryansk region
The governor of the Bryansk region, Alexander Bogomaz, reported on the attempt of the AFU aircraft to cross the border of Russia. Air defense systems detected the plane and stopped the breakthrough attempt, but two shells hit the settlement of Zhecha in the Starodubsky district, damaging the lining of the technological buildings of the oil terminal and the surrounding area. The head of the region said that there were no victims among the residents of the village. After the start of the military operation, the border regions are regularly shelled by the Ukrainian side.
The Russian air defense system prevented a military aircraft from entering the territory of the Russian Federation from Ukraine, but two shells hit the village of Zhecha in the Starodubsky district of the Bryansk region on the morning of April 30.
"This morning at 06:50 Russian air defense means detected the aircraft of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. When performing actions aimed at preventing the penetration of the object into the territory of the Russian Federation, two shells hit the settlement of Zhecha in the Starodubsky district," the governor of the region, Alexander Bogomaz, said in his Telegram channel.
The head of the region did not specify which plane was in question and what happened to it afterwards. At the same time, Bogomaz noted that no one was injured as a result of the incident.
The blast wave formed due to the airstrike damaged the technical buildings of the oil terminal.

Starodubsky district borders the Chernihiv region, and the village itself is located 55 km from the border with Ukraine.
Regular shelling
After the start of the military operation, the border regions are regularly shelled by the Ukrainian side. So, on April 29, in the Bryansk region, the FSB border checkpoint in the Belaya Berezka area was shelled.
This week, similar incidents occurred in the villages of Zhuravlevka, Nehoteyevka and Golovchino in the Belgorod region, a checkpoint was also attacked "Troebortnoe" in the Bryansk region, and in the Voronezh and Kursk regions reported downed Ukrainian drones. In addition, on April 26, it was reported that a humanitarian convoy was being shelled near Belgorod, which was returning from the Kharkiv region.
In mid-April, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation reported that two Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopters carried out "at least six airstrikes on residential buildings" in the village of Klimovo. As a result of the shelling, eight people were injured, and about a hundred houses were damaged.
In the Bryansk region, as well as in some other border regions, the yellow level of terrorist danger has been in effect since April 11.
Return fire of the Russian military
On April 30, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that high-precision air-launched missiles hit five military facilities of Ukraine overnight, including four ammunition and fuel depots, as well as the area of concentration of manpower and military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
According to the ministry, the Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft struck nine areas of concentration of manpower and equipment of the Ukrainian army overnight, including destroying four tanks and six armored vehicles.
The Defense Ministry also reported on the work of air defense systems that were able to destroy 18 Ukrainian drones, including three Bayraktar TB2 over the settlements of Gorlovka, Kramatorsk, Novoakhtyrka, Faceless Estuary, Kozinka, Karpovka, Chervony Oskol, Petmanovo, Putilino and Peremoga.
In turn, the missile troops hit two control points of the AFU units, a battery of multiple rocket launchers and a radar station overnight.
