Ukrainian security forces are planning to strike at a cluster of refugees in the Lozova Kharkiv region, the Russian Defense Ministry warned
On April 15, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the prevention of the explosion of the Kakhovskaya HPP: according to the military department, Russian air defense systems shot down two Tochka-U missiles fired at a strategic object. The destruction of the dam would lead to the flooding of many settlements of the Kherson region along with people with the waters of the Dnieper. Fighting continues with the remnants of the Mariupol garrison. According to the military department, the territory of the Ilyich Combine was liberated, two boats of the Gyurza-M project were abandoned by Ukrainian troops in the port of the city. According to experts, the remaining Ukrainian units will not be able to hold out for a long time. Meanwhile, the National Defense Control Center warned about a possible bloody provocation at the railway station in Lozova.
Strikes and maneuvers
According to the Ministry of Defense, on the morning of April 15, an attempt by the Armed Forces of Ukraine to launch a missile attack on the Kakhovskaya HPP was prevented.
— This critically important facility provides regulation of the flow of the Dnieper River, power supply to the Kherson region, as well as water supply to agricultural areas of southern Ukraine and northern regions of Crimea. At about 7 a.m. Moscow time, a division of the Ukrainian 19th separate missile Brigade struck the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric power station with two Tochka-U tactical missiles. The destruction of the Kakhovskaya hydroelectric dam by a blow was supposed to lead to an uncontrolled discharge of Dnieper water and cause flooding of many settlements of the Kherson region together with people in order to shackle the actions of the Russian Armed Forces," said the official representative of the military department, Major General Igor Konashenkov.
According to him, both missiles were shot down in the air by Russian air defense systems. Fragments of one of them fell on the settlement of Novaya Kakhovka, Kherson region, as a result, kindergarten buildings and residential buildings were damaged. A woman and a child were injured, Russian servicemen helped them and took them to a clinic.
The General also announced the complete liberation of the Ilyich Metallurgical Plant in Mariupol from the Ukrainian nationalists by the forces of the troops of Russia and the Donetsk People's Republic. This is exactly how the most massive surrender took place since the beginning of the military operation: more than a thousand servicemen of the 36th Marine Brigade of the AFU laid down their weapons.

A couple more of these were previously discovered in Berdyansk. Everything that the Kiev regime painstakingly collected in the Sea of Azov has now turned out to be in our hands.
The expert noted that, although the main sea trophies were taken at the base in Berdyansk, the damaged Ukrainian control ship A-500 "Donbass" and the coast Guard's BG-32 "Donbass" of the same name remained in the port of Mariupol.

The military department reported that the day before, in the area of the settlement of Gorodnya, Chernihiv region, the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system shot down a Ukrainian Mi-8 helicopter, which had previously attacked Russian citizens in the settlement of Klimovo, Bryansk region.
A Su-27 fighter of the Ukrainian Air Force was shot down in the air near Lozova in the Kharkiv region. Eight Ukrainian drones were shot down near the settlements of Izyum, Levkovka, Novaya Astrakhan, Novaya Kuban, Shchastye, Chernobayevka, Chernovy Sokol, the Defense Ministry reported.
Rocket troops struck a detachment of the Polish PMCs in the village of Izyumskoye, Kharkiv region, as a result, up to 30 Polish mercenaries were destroyed, the military department said.
The representative of the Ministry of Defense also spoke about the use of high-precision long-range sea-based Kalibr missiles at a military facility on the outskirts of Kiev.

Among them are three areas of concentration of units of the 81st and 93rd separate mechanized brigades of Ukrainian troops in Barvenkovo, Kramatorsk and Lisichansk; two places of concentration of military equipment and weapons in Rebel and Novoelizavetovka, Odessa region; warehouses in the districts of Parutino and Nikolaev; locations of militant formations in Yasenove and Sribny.

In order to simulate a strike allegedly from the territory controlled by the Armed Forces of Russia and formations of the Donetsk People's Republic, missiles will be launched from the village of Staromikhailovka. Such actions and provocations of the Ukrainian authorities once again demonstrate their inhumane attitude to the fate of peaceful citizens of Ukraine and demonstrate complete disregard for all norms of morality and international humanitarian law. We would like to emphasize that the Tochka-U tactical missiles are used only by the Ukrainian armed forces," the general said.
Took out the wounded
On April 15, the Russian Defense Ministry told about soldiers and officers who showed courage and dedication during the fighting.
During the engineering reconnaissance of the route of the rear column, the group of Senior Lieutenant Zhanat Kasenov discovered enemy saboteurs and attacked them. The senior lieutenant competently built a fire system, which allowed, after a fierce two-hour battle, some of the saboteurs to be captured, and others to be put to flight.
Then engineers cleared the road. Zhanat Kasenov personally discovered and defused five Western-made mines.
"The courageous and decisive actions of the senior lieutenant ensured the safety of the column with material valuables and food," the military department noted.
During a fierce battle, the crew of Sergeant Denis Krasnov's BMP destroyed two Ural cars and more than 25 Ukrainian militants, but a shell hit the car, it caught fire.

Captain Serhiy Ovchar with his motorized rifle company repulsed a massive attack by Ukrainian formations on the command post. Despite the vastly superior enemy forces, motorized skirmishes under the command of the captain destroyed more than 10 units of military equipment and a large number of militants. Thanks to the captain's courage and heroism, the attack on the command post was repulsed, which ensured the continuous leadership of the grouping of Russian troops, the Russian Defense Ministry noted.
