As Jane's Defense Weekly reported in its 2017-2018 Yearbook. The Ministry of Defense Industry of Pakistan described the fourth boat as "the first warship designed and built in Pakistan without the involvement of foreign technical specialists." This explains the wording in the Pakistan Navy press release.

The boat is made using low-visibility technologies, equipped with four diesel engines and develops a maximum speed of 30 knots. The cruising range is 1000 nautical miles at a speed of 18 knots.
As previously reported, the ship's armament consists of sea-based cruise missiles (KRMB) "Harbah" (Harbah), two quadruple PU with eight anti-ship missiles PKR C-802A /CSS-N-8 "Saccade" (Saccade), a double-barreled 25-mm artillery installation, a six-barreled 30-mm AU "Type-630".
