Russian media have distributed photo and video materials about ships, boats and vessels captured by Russian forces in Berdyansk on the Sea of Azov, which were part of the Naval Forces of Ukraine (VMSU) and the State Border Service of Ukraine (GPSU). Recall that during the Russian special military operation in Ukraine, Berdyansk came under the control of Russian troops on February 28, 2022. According to Ukrainian sources, since March 12, the Russian side has completely reassigned the Administration of the commercial port of Berdyansk, where the ships and boats of the Ukrainian Navy and the SSU were based.

According to Russian reports, the ships and boats of the Navy and the SSU were abandoned in Berdyansk by their evacuated crews, and all units were left intact, with property, weapons and ammunition remaining on board, and with Ukrainian flags raised.
It is reported that from the units of the Ukrainian Navy in Berdyansk, the patrol ship R 186 "Korets" (the former MB-30 sea tug of project 745 built in 1973, previously in the Navy carried the side numbers U 830 and A 830) and small armored artillery boats (MBAC) were left P 174 "Ackerman" (BK-02) and P 179 "Vishgorod" (BK-06) of the Ukrainian construction project 58155 (code "Gyurza-M") (in service since 2016 and 2018, respectively).
From the units of the State Border Service of Ukraine in Berdyansk, two border patrol boats of the 1400M "Vulture" project (one of them BG 118 "Arabat", the number of the second is unclear), two small border patrol boats of the UMS-1000 project of different variants (BG 14 and BG 24), three small border patrol boats of the 50300 project were left Kalkan-M (BG 308, BG 310 and BG 311), as well as the BG 732 traveling boat of the ADAMANT-315 project.
It is worth noting that a Russian fishing seiner "Nord" captured by the Ukrainian side on March 25, 2018 was also found in Berdyansk.
Of the ships of the Ukrainian Navy in the Sea of Azov, only two other MBAC project 58155 (code "Gyurza-M") P 177 "Kremenchuk" currently in the port of Mariupol, besieged by Russian forces, remained (BK-04) and P 178 "Lubni" (BK-05) and the control ship A 500 "Donbass" project 304 (former floating workshopPM-9). Of the ships and boats of the SSU in Mariupol, there should be, according to known data, border patrol ships BG 32 "Donbass" (project 205P) and BG 59 "Oniks" (confiscated fishing vessel), three border patrol boats of the project 1400M "Vulture" and seven small border patrol boats (four projects 50300 "Kalkan-M" and one each of the Galia 640, UMS-600 and UMS-1000 projects).
