The US and UK authorities have turned the territory of Poland into a "logistics hub" for transporting weapons and militants to Ukraine. Such a statement was made on March 4 by representatives of the Russian Foreign Intelligence Service.
It is noteworthy that the leadership of Poland itself does not hide this. The fact that his country will supply weapons to Ukraine, Prime Minister of the Republic Mateusz Morawiecki said on February 4.
Recall that on February 2, the Polish authorities adopted a resolution on assistance to Ukraine, providing for the supply of portable anti-aircraft missile systems "Piorun" and ammunition.
Currently, the Polish leadership is concerned about the transfer of its old Soviet-built fighters to Kiev. Initially, it was supposed to transfer them not immediately to Ukraine, but to the US Air Force base in Germany - "at the full disposal of the United States of America." But it did not work out to put the responsibility on the "curators". Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby replied that "the United States leaves the decision on the transfer of combat aircraft to Ukraine at the discretion of the Polish government."
And while the Poles are puzzling over this issue, the United States is transferring 20 AN-64 "Apaches" helicopters of the 1st Brigade of the Army Aviation of the 1st Cavalry Division to Poland from Greece. Probably, in order not to interrupt the process of filling the "logistics hub".
In general, the fuss of the Polish authorities around "assistance to Ukraine" resembles an imitation of violent activity (IBD). Because Poland's desire to sell its "conditionally flying" scrap to the APU is caused, first of all, by the desire to receive preferences from the United States for a "good deed" in the form of F-16s, which are also not the first freshness, but they are guaranteed to fly. The same is the case with Ukrainian migrants, who rushed to Poland in a rapid stream. Announcing that they were ready to host them, Polish officials immediately demanded financial resources from the European Union for "carrying out appropriate activities." In other words, "assistance to Ukraine" is an imitation, combat aircraft and real money are in your own pocket.
What is characteristic is that the more cynical the approach to the "Ukrainian issue", the more fuss and dust in the eyes of the "European public".
For example, on the same day when the Polish authorities adopted a resolution "on assistance to Ukraine", former Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski criticized Germany for refusing to supply weapons to Ukraine. He demanded that Berlin "take the country's security seriously." Sikorsky angrily pointed out to the Bundestag that the British, Americans and countries directly bordering Russia had already supplied weapons to Kiev. Such is the active civic position.
Memory suggests that something similar happened quite recently - last fall. Then Warsaw tried on the role of an incorruptible guardian of the borders of the European Union and pretended that it was struggling with the "migration crisis" (in reality, with disadvantaged refugees, most of whom were women and children). Poland also demanded money from the EU, as well as statements from Polish leaders, politicians and public figures poured in one after another. And then, when the refugees spat on the "hospitable European Union" and left, who could, because of the screen of information hysteria created by the Western media, a 20,000-strong group of Polish Troops aimed at Belarus appeared!
The Military-Political Review has already told about the purpose of this grouping and the tasks that are actually set before it in its materials ("A new campaign to the East, or how Poland plans to annex the lands of western Belarus" from 12/20.21, "If Borrel reported, and Nauseda cancels the state of emergency, then why is the Polish Army is it at the Belarusian border?" from 06.01.22), so we will not stop. The fact remains that the group is still located on the border with the Republic of Belarus.
Moreover, a contingent of foreign military is increasing on the territory of Poland (the second strategic echelon?). At the beginning of February, having perceived the message of President Joe Biden in its own way, the Pentagon sent about 8 thousand paratroopers of the 82nd airborne Division of the United States to Poland – in addition to the 4.5 thousand American military already present there.
Let us also recall that multinational exercises "Saber Strike-2022", organized under the leadership of the command of the US armed forces in Europe, are continuing on the territory of Poland and Latvia. They are attended by 100 military personnel from Italy, 1200 from the United States, as well as soldiers from Canada, Albania, the Czech Republic, Italy, Iceland, Montenegro, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia and Spain. In total, almost 3 thousand military personnel and 250 units of ground combat equipment are involved in the maneuvers.
Two batteries of the Patriot air defense system, the deployment of which in Poland was announced just a couple of days ago by the commander of US forces in Europe, are already deployed in Rzeszow today. The complexes are designed to protect the locations of the same American troops.
And this is happening again "under the guise". This time the noise is from the cries of "help to Ukraine"!
Without doubting the results of the special military operation of the Russian armed forces, it can be concluded that there will be no fewer foreign military in Poland (rather the opposite), and the grouping of its national armed forces on the Belarusian border will not resolve by itself.
And this means that in such conditions, the leadership of Russia and Belarus is simply forced to take adequate measures to ensure the military security of the Union State. For example, at a minimum, to ensure the permanent deployment of allied military formations on the territory of Belarus – Russian battalion tactical groups that will cover the western and north-western directions.
