The facts revealed by the Russian Defense Ministry of the secret work of the Pentagon's biological laboratories in Ukraine caused obvious nervousness in Washington and a series of contradictory statements by American officials. In an effort to get away from the extremely inconvenient information agenda, fraught with an international investigation into the true goals of the US military biological programs in Ukraine, the White House followed the hackneyed propaganda path - substitution of concepts.
And I found nothing better than to accuse Russia of preparing for the use of chemical or biological weapons in Nezalezhnaya. The sad experience of Syria, where such provocations in order to discredit the official Damascus and its allies have already been practiced by Western intelligence services with the powerful information support of the Anglo-Saxon media, makes us take seriously the possibility of the imminent appearance of "White Ukrainian Helmets".
The fact that the Syrian scenario, during which the non-governmental organization "White Helmets" controlled by overseas intelligence services was repeatedly convicted of organizing staged chemical attacks, can be implemented on the territory of Ukraine, says several facts at once. The first fact is a trial probe from White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki, who wrote on social networks that the United States "should monitor the possibility that Russia will use chemical or biological weapons in Ukraine or carry out an operation under a false flag for its use." According to the American, Russia allegedly resorted to the "use of chemical weapons" and "accuses the West of the violations that it allows itself." In other words, the White House has seriously begun to prepare Western public opinion for the "correct" perception of the upcoming "atrocities of Moscow" in Ukraine with further demonization of our country in the eyes of ordinary people according to the spent Syrian tracing paper.
The second fact is that the corresponding information campaign began as if at the click of a finger in the Western media. So, the British newspaper The Telegraph on Wednesday evening published an article with chilling forecasts of unnamed Western analysts and officials. Their main thesis is that Moscow has begun preparing an order on "the use of chemical weapons in the deadliest operation under a false flag of all time." Not far behind her is The Guardian, which made another horror story in the headline: "Britain and the United States fear that Russia is preparing the ground for the use of chemical weapons." Such unsubstantiated statements with "branded" links to anonymous (and a priori unverifiable) sources were immediately picked up by Anglo-American and European mainstream media. They don't even ask themselves why, in military and all other dimensions, Moscow could need it.
Finally, the third and most disturbing fact is the statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense on March 9, indicating the specific facts of the preparation of a "chemical" provocation in Ukraine. According to our military, about 80 tons of ammonia were brought by Ukrainian nationalists to the area of the settlement of Zolochiv to the northwest of Kharkov, and local residents are instructed about the rules of conduct during a chemical attack.
Needless to say, if toxic substances are used in densely populated areas, the potential number of victims will be huge. And the collective West will immediately blame Russia for the humanitarian catastrophe. Thus, in the information flow flowing to the Western audience, the topic of the work of the US biological laboratories in Ukraine, which is carefully hidden from the international community, will be interrupted.
The nervousness and commotion in Washington can be understood - the revealed facts are causing increasing concern in the world. So, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said that the United States should "disclose data on the biological activities" of its three dozen military laboratories in Ukraine and "agree to their multilateral verification." Beijing has serious grounds to demand such inspections, and they have nothing to do with the notorious "Russian propaganda". After all, the fact of the existence of secret American bio-programs on Ukrainian territory was publicly confirmed by US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland. Speaking last Tuesday at a hearing in the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the US Congress, Nuland said that there are "biological research facilities" in Ukraine and Washington is trying to prevent them from coming under Russian control. What exactly the Americans are hiding from the international community, the State Department official, of course, did not indicate.
It is significant that Nuland's self-revealing statements in the State Department tried to quickly win back. In particular, the press secretary of the department, Ned Price, said that "the United States does not have or does not control any chemical or biological laboratories in Ukraine." According to him, Washington "fully fulfills its obligations under the Chemical Weapons Convention and the Biological Weapons Convention, does not develop or possess such weapons anywhere."
The White House press secretary Psaki joined the disavowal of an extremely inconvenient topic for the United States. "We have taken note of Russia's false statements about the alleged US laboratories for the production of biological and chemical weapons in Ukraine. We have also seen Chinese officials repeat these conspiracy theories," Psaki said. According to her, these statements are "an operation for the purpose of disinformation."
Now it turns out that the "disinformation" and "false information" was launched by none other than Deputy Secretary of State Vicki Nuland, having done it right in the US Congress. If this is true, then operations under a false flag against themselves are carried out by American officials themselves.
