Our military continues to analyze the materials received from employees of Ukrainian biological laboratories about the secret military biological activities of the United States on the territory of Ukraine. "Russian specialists of the Radiation, Chemical and Biological Protection Troops have studied documents on the transfer of human biomaterials taken in Ukraine to foreign countries on the instructions of US representatives," Major General Igor Konashenkov, an official representative of the Russian Defense Ministry, said on Thursday, March 10.
According to him, our military was particularly interested in detailed information about the implementation of a project by the United States on the territory of Ukraine to study the transfer of pathogens by wild birds migrating between Ukraine and Russia and other neighboring countries. According to the documents, the Americans planned to conduct work on pathogens of birds, bats and reptiles in Ukraine in 2022. And then to study the possibilities of their transmission of African swine fever and anthrax. According to the documents, experiments with samples of bat coronavirus were carried out in biological laboratories created and funded in Ukraine.
The Russian Defense Ministry came to an unequivocal conclusion: the purpose of these and other Pentagon-funded biological research in Ukraine was to create a mechanism for the covert spread of deadly pathogens.
Konashenkov promised that in the near future the next package of documents received from Ukrainian biolaboratory employees will be published. The results of their examination will be presented to the Russian and world public.
The fact that the Ukrainian nationalists are ready to use any lethal means, is also evidenced by other facts available to our military. They, among other things, talk about the preparation of provocations monstrous in their cynicism and possible consequences.
So, General Konashenkov said that on the night of March 9, Ukrainian nationalists brought about 80 tons of ammonia to the settlement of Zolochiv north-west of Kharkov. According to the residents of Zolochiv who left their homes, the nationalists are now teaching the population how to act correctly in a chemical attack. "All this testifies to the preparation by Ukrainian nationalists of a provocation using toxic substances to accuse Russia of allegedly using chemical weapons," Konashenkov concluded.
On the same day, the deputy head of the Russian military department, Nikolai Pankov, said that Ukrainian nationalists had undertaken another extremely dangerous provocation against an atomic facility. They struck at the substation and power lines feeding the Chernobyl nuclear power plant.
"Russian specialists have taken operational measures to switch to backup diesel generator power supplies. The Ukrainian side in every possible way evades the organization of any repair and restoration work," Nikolai Pankov said. "In our opinion, this once again confirms the absolutely purposeful and provocative nature of the actions of the nationalists."
Meanwhile, the Russian Armed Forces continue to strike at the objects of the Ukrainian military infrastructure. According to the Russian Defense Ministry, a total of 2,911 such objects were destroyed during the operation. Among them are 97 aircraft, 107 drones, 141 anti-aircraft missile defense systems, 86 radar posts, 986 tanks and other armored combat vehicles, 107 multiple rocket launchers, 368 field artillery and mortars, 749 units of special military vehicles.
Important information concerning the results of the defeat of aviation and air defense systems of the armed forces of Ukraine was published at one of the briefings by General Konashenkov. According to him, by the beginning of the special operation, there were up to 250 serviceable combat aircraft and helicopters in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The Russian Aerospace Forces destroyed most of them on the ground and in the air. However, the Ukrainians managed to overtake some aircraft to Romania.
"90 percent of Ukrainian military airfields, where the main part of combat aviation was based, are out of action. There are practically no trained Ukrainian pilots of the first and second class left. Today, only isolated attempts of sorties of combat aircraft of the air forces of Ukraine are recorded," the general reported.
He also spoke about the results of the defeat of the air defense of Ukraine. The number of disabled S-300, Buk M-1 and S-125 anti-aircraft missile systems is approaching one and a half hundred. This, according to Konashenkov, is more than 90 percent of the long- and medium-range anti-aircraft missile systems available in combat.
In addition, more than eight dozen radar air defense posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were destroyed. Which led to the loss of combat control of aviation and air defense of Ukraine. "Currently, the air defense system is only of a focal nature and is not capable of providing significant counteraction to Russian aviation," the general said.
At the same time, he noted that the leadership of the Ukrainian armed forces is trying to make up for the lack of information about the air situation by receiving data at the air force command post in Vinnytsia from the E-3A aircraft of the AWACS-NATO system. Such aircraft, according to Konashenkov, are on round-the-clock duty in the airspace of Poland.
