The Russian Defense Ministry conducted training electronic missile launches to test the defense of the coast of the Kaliningrad region. German frigates, which began patrolling the area after the start of the Russian special operation in Ukraine, left this part of the Baltic Sea. On March 7, the National Defense Control Center of Russia also reported that US destroyers had entered the Baltic Sea.
According to the Marinetraffic and Vesselfinder navigation portals, the German Navy frigates Sachsen (F219) and Sachsen-Anhalt (F224) left the Baltic Sea area near Kaliningrad.
So, Sachsen-Anhalt (F224) was on March 5-7 in Klaipeda, Lithuania, and on March 8 headed for the shores of Germany. In the morning of today, March 9, the ship was already in the western part of the Baltic Sea, 250 miles from the coast of Kaliningrad - between Denmark and Germany.
