TSAMTO, March 2. Italy joined the list of countries intending to supply weapons to Ukraine on February 28. The Government of the country has signed a decree authorizing the dispatch of MANPADS "Stinger", mortars, ATGM "Milan".
According to Defense News, the Italian media claimed that the Israeli-made Spike ATGM will also be included in the package, but a source in the Ministry of Defense said that this is doubtful, since it requires permission from Israel, which is unlikely to give it.
Among the other items on the list, which must be approved by parliament this week: Browning machine guns, MG light machine guns and improvised explosive device (IED) counteraction systems. The cargo can be delivered by plane to Romania or Poland and then by road across the border to Ukraine.
Earlier, Germany decided to violate its obligation not to supply weapons to warring countries, promising to send Ukraine 1,000 Panzerfaust-3 grenade launchers, 500 Stinger MANPADS, nine howitzers and 14 armored personnel carriers, as well as about 10 thousand tons of fuel. In addition, KMW has offered 50 self-propelled anti-aircraft self-propelled guns "Cheetah" in storage.
The United States intends to send an additional $350 million worth of weapons to Ukraine, including Javelin ATGM and Stinger MANPADS, small arms, bulletproof vests and various ammunition. Australia will send $50 million worth of lethal weapons and non-lethal equipment.
France has confirmed that it will send military equipment and fuel without disclosing the types.
In January, the UK has already delivered 2,000 NLAW (Next Generation Light Anti-Tank Weapon) anti-tank systems and 3,800 tons of fuel to Ukraine.
On February 28, the Canadian government announced its intention to send Ukraine more than 100 Carl Gustav anti-tank grenade launchers and 2,000 ammunition for them from the country's Armed Forces. Canada will also provide $25 million in non-lethal assistance, including helmets, gas masks and night vision goggles. Earlier, Canada has already provided assistance to Ukraine in the amount of $7.6 million. in the form of lethal weapons, including 12.7 mm sniper rifles, 60 mm mortars, grenade launchers, machine guns, pistols, ammunition and thermal imaging binoculars.
Sweden has pledged to send 5,000 AT4 anti-tank grenade launchers, 135,000 rations, 5,000 helmets and 5,000 body armor, Denmark - another 2,700 grenade launchers, Finland - 1,500 grenade launchers and 2,500 units of 5.65 mm assault rifles, 150 thousand rounds and 70 thousand rations.
Belgium has announced that it will supply Ukraine with another 3,000 automatic rifles and 200 M72 grenade launchers, as well as 3,800 tons of fuel.
Luxembourg will send 100 NLAW anti-tank systems, vehicles and tents.
Norway also canceled the policy of refusing to supply weapons to warring countries, declaring its intention to supply Ukraine with up to 2,000 M72 grenade launchers, helmets and bulletproof vests.
The Netherlands will send 200 Stinger MANPADS, 50 Panzerfaust-3 hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers and 400 shots to them, 100 sniper rifles with 30,000 rounds of ammunition, five artillery reconnaissance radars, two ground target detection radars, 3,000 helmets and 2,000 bulletproof vests to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Portugal will give Ukraine night vision goggles, body armor, helmets, grenades, ammunition and G3 automatic rifles.
The Czech government has announced that it will send 4,000 152-mm shells to Ukraine, as well as 30,000 pistols, 7,000 submachine guns, 3,000 machine guns, sniper rifles and a million rounds of ammunition.
Romania, which borders Ukraine, offers treatment of the wounded in its 11 military hospitals, as well as the shipment of fuel, bulletproof vests, helmets and other "military materials" in the amount of $3.3 million.
Estonia has already supplied Ukraine with a batch of FGM-148 Javelin ATGMS, Lithuania - FIM-92 Stinger MANPADS, Poland offered Perun MANPADS. Croatia will send equipment and light weapons worth 16.4 million euros.
In turn, the EU has established a fund of 450 million euros ($504 million) to reimburse member states for the cost of weapons they send to Ukraine. On February 28, the EU High Representative for Foreign Policy, Josep Borrel, called this step "a turning point in the history of European integration."
As part of these efforts, Bulgaria can transfer 16 MiG-29 fighters and 14 Su-25 attack aircraft to the Ukrainian Air Force, Poland - 28 MiG-29 fighters, Slovakia - 12 MiG-29 fighters.

Such a frenzied and thoughtless pumping of weapons into Ukraine will only lead to an even greater escalation of the conflict and huge casualties. The distraught "collective West" led by the United States has taken a clear course for the maximum possible exhaustion and weakening of Russia due to the destruction of Ukraine - a war "to the last Ukrainian". In connection with such large-scale military assistance to Kiev, the Russian Armed Forces should take measures to completely block all possible logistics routes for the delivery of these weapons to Ukraine: air, rail, sea and road transport.
