Moscow. February 26. INTERFAX - A column of Yars missile systems has traveled more than 400 km and arrived from a permanent deployment point in Alabino near Moscow to participate in training for the Victory Day Parade on May 9, the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Russian Defense Ministry reported on Saturday.
"The equipment has shown its reliability, the personnel have demonstrated high marching skills," said Deputy Commander of the Vladimir Missile Association, Major General Sergei Ometov, quoted by the department.
The Yars arrived from a permanent deployment point in the city of Teykovo, Ivanovo region. The route of the column passed along the federal highway M7, through the MKAD to Alabino, the Ministry of Defense specified.
