"This year we must continue work on the re-equipment of strategic nuclear forces. This program will take several years, these works are already underway," Rogozin said in an interview with Channel One on the day of the 30th anniversary of the creation of the Russian Space Agency.
According to the head of the state corporation, this topic is extremely important. "I spend about 70-80% of my time dealing with this issue," he said.
In December last year, the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Sergei Shoigu, said that the level of modernity of the Russian nuclear triad has been brought to the highest level in history and amounted to 89.1%.
