The crews of the ships of the Pacific Fleet conducted a training to cover the base point in Kamchatka from the means of an air attack of a conditional enemy, the press service of the Air Defense of the Pacific Fleet reported.
The "enemy" aircraft raided the point of permanent deployment of the forces of the Pacific Fleet, where there was already a detachment of ships that went there after the exercises in the Sea of Okhotsk and the Avacha Bay - this is the legend of the exercise.
Calculations of the ships' air defense have worked out the algorithm of actions in repelling a conditional air strike. The personnel with the help of air defense means found and took the simulated targets on time, and at the entrance of air objects into the zone of destruction of air defense means "destroyed" them.
The targets were marked electronically, and the exercise was conducted in accordance with the fleet's combat training plan. It was attended by the crews of the corvettes "Thundering", "Loud" and "Hero of the Russian Federation Aldar Tsydenzhapov", as well as the frigate "Marshal Shaposhnikov".
