Airbus continues to develop MUM-T technologies. On February 22, the company's press service announced a successful trial drone drop from the A400M military transport aircraft.
The tests were carried out as part of the further development of MUM-T (Manning Unmann Teaming) technologies, when manned vehicles interact with unmanned vehicles. Airbus has high hopes for its project, indicating that one A400M can carry more than forty drones similar to the Do-DT25 being tested.

"In the future, such unmanned aerial vehicles, called Remote Carriers, can serve as multipliers of combat power for various missions, protecting pilots from danger. MUM-T will allow remote carriers to work together with manned aircraft, opening up new areas of tactics to surprise, deceive, deter and strike at opponents," the Airbus press service said.
The Airbus A400M is a turboprop four-engine military transport aircraft manufactured by Airbus Military Corporation. The Airbus A400M made its first flight in 2009, its customers are eight countries that have ordered about 200 units in total.
The volume of the cargo compartment of the A400M is about 340 cubic meters, which is almost twice as much as that of similar-purpose aircraft in service with European armies. Such dimensions will allow the car to transport all the main types of weapons and military equipment without disassembling them beforehand. The maximum carrying capacity of the aircraft is 37 tons: the A400M can accommodate 120 paratroopers, two attack helicopters or six armored SUVs.
