TSAMTO, February 21. 10 sets of OVR-2-02 protective suits have been delivered to the engineering and sapper unit of the Western Military District in the Leningrad Region.
The suit is designed for mine clearance groups of engineering units performing the tasks of making passages in minefields and clearing the terrain.
The combined arms mine clearance kit OVR-2-02 was developed taking into account the experience of using the OVR-2-01 kit. The kit includes a suit with improved characteristics, audio-video communication systems, cooling, hearing protection, a set of individual and group tools, including a multifunctional sapper knife, a multifunctional sapper blade, a non-magnetic probe, flashlights and passage signs.
The kit includes six suits of combat protective equipment "Raid-L-Tactical" of the second class of protection. The weight of one suit is 15 kg, the press service of the Western Military District reports.
