OBUZ-LESNOVSKY LANDFILL (Belarus), February 19 - RIA Novosti. At the Obuz-Lesnovsky training ground in Belarus, during the main stage of practical actions at the joint exercises "Allied Resolve - 2022", the coalition group, after practicing actions in defense, launched a counteroffensive against a conditional enemy on Saturday, the Russian Defense Ministry reported.
"In the course of practical actions, the defending troops, with the support of missile troops and artillery units, as well as in cooperation with the aviation of the Russian Aerospace Forces, the Air Force and the air Defense forces of the Republic of Belarus, launched a counterattack," the ministry noted.
They recalled that as part of the coalition group of troops, units of the Pacific Fleet Marines, Russian Aerospace Forces aviation, as well as troops of the Western Operational Command, Air Force and Air Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Belarus take part in joint actions. The experience of modern armed conflicts, including in the Syrian Arab Republic, is the basis for the implementation of combat training tasks during the exercises.
The units carrying out the counterattack with rapid actions inflicted maximum defeat on the enemy, developed the success of the offensive and created conditions for its complete destruction.
The exercises are held in accordance with the decision of the Presidents of the Russian Federation and Belarus, adopted in December last year.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the number of participants in the exercises, as well as the number of main weapons systems subject to the Vienna Document of 2011, do not exceed the parameters defined by it, which are subject to notification.
The main result of the exercise was an assessment of the ability of the military command and control bodies and troops (forces) to perform tasks to ensure the military security of the Union State.

They were observed by over 20 observers from 18 countries, and in particular, Vietnam, Kazakhstan, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, USA, China, Poland, Ukraine, Serbia, Hungary, Czech Republic, Turkey, India.
