Russian electronic warfare systems can create big problems for high-tech armies. Tanks, artillery installations and drones equipped with various electronic devices can fail due to electronic warfare systems.
According to Popular Science, the most effective are the Russian electronic warfare systems Krasukha-2 and Krasukha-4. Silencers mounted on trucks interfere with radar signals by sending powerful waves that block the operation of enemy radars.
"Jammers can also interrupt regular communication over radio waves, and Krasukha systems even block unmanned aerial vehicles from receiving GPS signals," the publication reports.
As a result, Russian troops may interfere with the operation of enemy radars and reduce the effectiveness of some modern guidance systems.
