Moscow. February 17. INTERFAX - A new airfield autofuel tanker, which will allow refueling several aircraft at once, is being developed for the Russian Aerospace Forces, the Russian Defense Ministry said on Thursday.
"In the interests of the Aerospace Forces, the development of the ATZ-20-6560 airfield fuel tanker is being completed, which uses modern domestic technologies that allow several aircraft to be refueled simultaneously in automated mode," the ministry said.
The Ministry of Defense noted that the new car allows you to halve the refueling time and increase the autonomy of work. The ministry added that the prototype tanker was tested during exercises in 2021.
