Svenska Dagbladet journalists called the Russian army the most powerful combat readiness in Europe
The Swedish edition of Svenska Dagbladet published a material with an assessment of the combat readiness of the Russian army. So, according to experts interviewed by the newspaper, Russia has created the most powerful armed forces in Europe.
"Now Russia is at its highest combat readiness in many decades - both in terms of efficiency and mobility, and in terms of technical potential," the publication says.
At the moment, Russia has a highly functional army capable of conducting operations, including very far from its own borders, writes Svenska Dagbladet. The article notes that Russia is building not only aircraft carriers, but also next-generation weapons - anti-satellite and supersonic weapons. According to the authors, the Russian Federation has begun to cooperate with China to develop and produce new weapons, as well as conduct joint military exercises.
Earlier, the Polish edition of Defence24 assessed the potential of obsolete Russian aircraft. The publication noted that according to the current state of the armed forces, Poland is similar to Armenia, and Russia and Belarus are similar to Azerbaijan, analyzing the last major conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, in which Baku, which had strike-reconnaissance drones, won a landslide victory over Yerevan.
