The Sevmash enterprise is engaged in deep modernization of the heavy nuclear missile cruiser project 1144 "Admiral Nakhimov". After that, it will become the most powerful ship equipped with modern weapons. In the video, which was presented at Sevmash, you can watch the completion work.
All operations are carried out, as they say, "on the water". The ship was transferred to the embankment in 2020. Painting operations are in full swing here. By the way, 400 tons of paint and about 3.5 tons of metal have already been used.
More than five thousand pieces of equipment and more than one million different products will be loaded and installed on the cruiser. 200 kilometers of pipelines and 1.8 thousand kilometers of cable will be stretched.
The approach to repair at the enterprise is modern. To do this, we created a 3D model of the ship, which simplifies the work and reduces the time.
