The crews of the Su-34 aircraft of the aviation regiment of the Southern Military District destroyed a conditional enemy in the stratosphere
Crews of Russian Su-34 fighter-bombers conducted exercises. The planes of the regiment, which is based in the Rostov region, destroyed a conditional enemy in the stratosphere. This is reported by TASS with reference to the press service of the Southern Military District (SE).
"The crews of Su-34 multifunctional fighter-bombers of the aviation regiment of the Southern Military District in the Rostov region conducted air battles with a conditional enemy in the lower stratosphere during a tactical flight exercise," the Southern Military District reported.
The press service noted that the pilots performed elements of simple and complex aerobatics at an altitude of more than 12 kilometers. Also, the Su-34 crews worked out the interception and destruction of a conditional enemy while gaining supersonic speed.
As part of the exercises, the pilots also worked out maneuvers to escape from the air defense (air defense) of a conditional enemy. The crews performed individual elements at an altitude of about 100 meters.
In January, the United States commented on the joint flight of Syrian aircraft with Russian Su-34 and Su-35. The publication The Drive noted that patrolling the border may limit Israel's ability to strike targets in Syria.
Earlier in the same month in the United States, the front part of the Su-34 was called the main feature of the Russian fighter-bomber.
