The annual flight time of U-UAZ helicopters under maintenance exceeded 26 thousand hours

TSAMTO, February 11. According to the results of 2021, the total flight time of helicopters produced by the Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant of the Russian Helicopters Holding (Rostec State Corporation), which are under warranty and maintenance, amounted to 26,430 hours.

The number of such helicopters has increased by almost 50% compared to 2020.

"Over the past year, over 180 helicopters of almost all types of the U-UAZ product line have been on warranty and maintenance. The machines are successfully operated in various regions of the world from the Arctic zone of Russia to the countries of Southeast Asia, Africa and Latin America. Despite the difficult epidemiological situation, we have done and plan to do everything in the future to provide customers with high airworthiness indicators of aviation equipment," said Alexey Kozlov, Managing Director of U-UAZ.

Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant provides a full range of after-sales service of the delivered products, including warranty and service, subscription service, production and supply of spare parts and aircraft equipment, modernization and maintenance of the helicopter life cycle.

The main task of warranty service is to maintain the airworthiness of aviation equipment. Standard warranty and service conditions assume 1 year of service or 300 hours of flight time. The customer, if desired, can add an additional amount of work to the contract, increase the working time of the warranty team, for example, up to 3 years. The contract between the management organization and the customer may also stipulate the training of technical and flight personnel in the country of the operating organization or on the basis of the U-UAZ aviation training center.
