Expert Litovkin admitted that the ship "Guardian" will receive hypersonic missiles "Zircon"
The Russian submerging patrol ship "Sentinel", being developed by the Central Design Bureau of Marine Technology (CCB MT) "Rubin", can receive hypersonic missiles "Zircon", the editor-in-chief of the "Independent Military Review" Dmitry Litovkin told TASS .
"With the declared displacement, the Guardian will be able to be a carrier of long-range "Calibers", anti-ship supersonic "Onyx", and in the future - hypersonic "Zircons"," the expert said.
Litovkin also admitted that the Guardian could receive a "Package-NK" that allows launching torpedoes and anti-torpedoes.
The author recalled that the development of the ship is being carried out by the Central Design Bureau of MT Rubin on an initiative basis. "That is, the concept of the ship exists exclusively in a virtual computer environment," Litovkin said.
In February, the Central Design Bureau of MT Rubin presented a new version of the diving ship "Guardian", which received a small-caliber automatic cannon, two launchers for guided missiles and four torpedo tubes of 324 mm caliber.
The development of the "Guardian" was announced by the Central Design Bureau of MT Rubin in April 2021.
