YEKATERINBURG, February 11. /tass/. Complex exercises of crews of Mi-8AMTSh-V Terminator transport and combat helicopters and units of the S-400 Triumph air defense system of the Central Military District (CVO) were held in the Novosibirsk Region. This is stated in a message distributed on Friday by the press service of the district.
"During the exercise, the combat crews of the S-400 Triumph air defense system units worked out the issues of searching, identifying and capturing targets, including those flying at extremely low altitudes. The crews of the Mi-8AMTSh-V "Terminator" helicopters honed their skills of flying at extremely low and maximum altitudes from 100 to 3,000 meters, and also performed maneuvers of various complexity in order to avoid air defense means," the report says.
About 500 servicemen from the air defense and ground support units took part in the exercises. In total, over 40 units of military and special equipment were involved.
