TSAMTO, February 10. At the military training ground of a separate motorized rifle brigade of the Northern Fleet in the Pechengsky district of the Murmansk region, a training session was held with combat crews of the Tor-M2DT SAM on the basis of the Vityaz two-link all-terrain vehicle.
The servicemen marched off-road to the designated area and worked out the deployment of complexes in combat positions.
The crews of the air defense systems carried out measures to transfer them to various degrees of combat readiness. After working out combat training tasks, the division fulfilled the standard for folding with a change of combat position.
During the training, each crew was evaluated on the deployment of these installations for a time and on the repulse of attacks by means of an air attack of a conditional enemy.
5 units of military equipment were involved in the event.
The Tor-M2DT anti-aircraft missile systems entered service with the motorized rifle brigade of the Northern Fleet in 2019. The complexes are fully adapted to the conditions of basing in the Arctic and are capable of autonomously conducting combat operations without being tied to life support and energy supply systems, the press service of the Northern Fleet reports.
