The operation to disguise the column of S-400 "Triumph" anti-aircraft missile systems was carried out at an exercise in the Samara region by specialists of the radiation, chemical and biological protection regiment of the Central Military District. They hid the moving equipment from the enemy with a solid aerosol curtain. All this happened at the Chapaevsky training ground.
According to the plan of the exercise, after performing electronic launches from the S-400 at high-altitude ballistic targets simulating cruise missiles, the calculations of the Triumphs engaged in changing firing positions. And the aerosol division of the RCBZ regiment with the help of the TDA-3 installation helped the anti-aircraft gunners to remain invisible to the aircraft weapons of the simulated enemy. After making a march to new areas, the Triumphs' calculations carried out a disguise of equipment and performed electronic missile launches against enemy aircraft.
According to the press service of the Central Military District, about 500 servicemen and more than 60 units of military and special equipment were involved in the exercise.

The S-400 Triumph anti-aircraft missile system is designed to defeat strategic and tactical aircraft, ballistic missiles, hypersonic targets and other means of air attack in conditions of electronic and other types of counteraction. The S-400 is capable of hitting both aerodynamic and ballistic targets.
Their detection range is up to 600 km. The radius of the air defense system cover zone is 400 km. The S-400 is capable of aiming up to 72 missiles at the target of attack and simultaneously firing at 36 aerial targets. Mobile rocket launchers move quickly along the highway, and if necessary, they will overcome off-road terrain. The deployment time of an anti-aircraft missile system from a marching position to a combat position does not exceed five minutes.
