Rostov-on-Don. February 9th. INTERFAX-SOUTH - The crews of the army aviation of the Russian airbase Erebuni (Armenia) of the Southern Military District performed training flights in high-altitude terrain, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
"The servicemen performed flights along the specified routes, search and rescue operations in the hover mode, search and evacuation of conditionally wounded servicemen. A special feature of the training tasks was the landing of a helicopter with one engine turned off, as well as in difficult meteorological conditions: with strong gusts of wind, in conditions of poor visibility, as well as at night by instruments," the report says.
It is noted that the crews performed flights over the Alagyaz high-altitude training ground of the Russian military base.
