TSAMTO, February 7. During the combat training activities, the cadets of the tank troops of the combined arms training center of the Air Defense, stationed in the Khabarovsk Territory, are trained on new computer simulators.
The simulator consists of a simulator of the tank control department and the instructor's workplace, which allows the instructor to exercise control over every action of the trainee and ensures the landing, disembarkation of the cadet through the hatch of the driver, as from a real tank.
In addition, the realistic effect of finding the trainee in a combat vehicle ensures the placement of the simulator on a dynamic platform that reproduces the fluctuations characteristic of the movement of the tank over different terrain.
The extensive capabilities of computer simulators allow you to perform the tasks of pointing the barrel of a tank at a target and firing at stationary and moving targets at various ranges and speeds. When performing exercises, the trajectory of projectiles is also simulated, the movement of targets, the size of which varies in proportion to the range, the press service of the Eastern Military District reports.
