As part of the verification of the reaction forces of the Union State, the gunners of Russia and Belarus worked out the destruction of equipment and personnel of the conditional enemy. The military used mortars, multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) "Grad" and self-propelled howitzers to strike targets at the Brest training ground. This is reported by RIA Novosti .
The gunners struck the control points, which allowed to disrupt the command and control system of the troops. After that, the calculations of artillery installations hit the advancing forces and positions of the mortars of the conditional enemy.
Self-propelled artillery units (ACS) 2S3M "Acacia", 2S9 "Nona-S", two batteries of MLRS BM-21 "Grad", as well as towed mortars 2S12 "Sani" and 2B23 "Nona-M1" were involved in the defeat.
Earlier, the Russian Defense Ministry reported that the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system (SAM) arrived in Belarus to participate in the verification of the reaction forces of the Union State.
In December 2021, Uraltransmash completed the delivery of upgraded 2S3M Acacia self-propelled howitzers to Belarus.
