Rostov-on-Don. February 3. INTERFAX-SOUTH - The crews of the fighter aviation of the Southern Military District from the Erebuni Airbase (Armenia) performed training flights on MiG-29 and Su-30SM fighters, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
"The crews worked out combat training tasks as part of pairs and links in difficult weather conditions with elements of complex piloting. The servicemen performed exercises on emergency landing of the aircraft in case of failure of one of the engines, with limited visibility in conditions of the use of aerosol and smoke screens, landing on a limited area with partial destruction of the runway as a result of an air strike by a conditional enemy, "the report says.
It is noted that the servicemen performed tasks during the day and at night in difficult weather conditions with heavy precipitation, gusty wind, as well as temperature changes in the highlands.
