TSAMTO, February 2. The crews of the DPL of the Novorossiysk Naval Base (NVMB) of the Black Sea Fleet (Black Sea Fleet) were trained at the modern Afalina and Hephaestus training complexes (UTK).
During the lessons, the submariners worked out practical skills in conducting diving operations in various types of equipment and leaving a conditionally emergency submarine through a torpedo tube, as well as using individual and collective means of rescue.
In addition, at the UTK, each member of the DAPL crew completed a full training course on practical actions to combat water and fire in a conditionally emergency compartment.
The equipment of the training complexes allows you to simulate situations and conditions for submariners that are as close to real as possible. Training takes place under the supervision of instructors, all actions of military personnel are accompanied by video recording.
The uniqueness of the Afalina rescue and light diving training is the ability to simulate deep-water space, which allows you to work out various elements of diving training, including passing standards for descents under water, entry and exit from the torpedo tube and diving tower.
A special feature of the UTK "Hephaestus" in the fight for the survivability of the crew of a submarine in the event of emergency situations is the presence of a training place for working out a smoke-filled maze that simulates the emergency compartment of the ship.
The latest NVMB training complexes ensure that servicemen acquire the necessary theoretical knowledge, practical skills and skills to act in crisis situations in coastal conditions, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
