The marines of the Northern Fleet at the training ground in the Pechengsky district of the Murmansk region stopped the offensive of the conditional enemy with artillery fire. The exercises were held jointly with the Arctic expeditionary group. You can watch the course of the shooting on video.
According to the press service of the Northern Fleet, the Marines fired from self-propelled artillery howitzers "Gvozdika" of 122 mm caliber and self-propelled artillery and mortar installations "Nona" of 120 mm caliber.
They also destroyed targets simulating armored vehicles and manpower of a simulated enemy from multiple rocket launchers "Grad".
Recall that joint exercises with the Arctic group will be held in the waters of the Mediterranean, Northern, Okhotsk Seas, in the north-eastern part of the Atlantic Ocean and in the Pacific Ocean. More than 140 warships and support vessels, over 60 aircraft, a thousand units of military equipment and about ten thousand military personnel will take part in them.
