MOSCOW, January 31 - RIA Novosti. Military builders will create a hospital complex with a polyclinic in the Moscow suburb of Istra, the facility should be commissioned in May 2022, the Russian Defense Ministry told reporters.
"As part of the fulfillment of the instructions of the President of Russia, specialists of the Military Construction Complex of the Ministry of Defense of Russia are building a new hospital complex with a polyclinic on the territory of the Moscow region to provide medical care to residents of the region," the report says.
It is noted that the multidisciplinary round-the-clock hospital with 160 beds will have therapeutic, cardiological and traumatology departments, gynecology, pulmonology and intensive care.
Andrey Vorobyov, the Governor of the Moscow Region, addressed the President of the Russian Federation with a request that the Russian Defense Ministry build a medical facility. He has already inspected the progress of the work together with the Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Timur Ivanov.
Patients with a new coronavirus infection will also be able to receive medical care within the walls of the new center, the Ministry of Defense stressed.
