Military Watch: Su-35S aircraft are among the most combat-ready Russian fighters
The Su-35S planes transferred to Belarus were named the most combat-ready fighters of Russia in the publication of the American edition of Military Watch.
The publication notes that the aircraft stationed in Baranovichi are capable of operating against targets throughout Europe, including the UK. The publication notes that the 4++ generation fighter was originally created to counter Western stealth combat aircraft.
According to Military Watch, the strengths of the Su-35S include, in particular, high endurance and maneuverability, as well as a long range of hitting targets. It is noted that the fighter is armed with an air-to—air missile R-37M, capable of destroying the enemy at a range of up to 400 kilometers.
In January, Military Watch wrote that the Russian-made Su-30SM fighter is one of the most dangerous combat aircraft in Europe.
In the same month, the publication noted that the most important advantage of the Russian Su-35 fighter over the Ukrainian Su-27 is the presence of modern avionics in the first.
