On Friday, January 28, at a meeting of the operational headquarters of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to combat a new coronavirus infection, Deputy Chief of the Main Military Medical Directorate, Major General of the Medical Service Maxim Kuandykov reported to First Deputy Minister of Defense Ruslan Tsalikov on the widespread introduction in military medical institutions of a new method of testing for covid, developed in the departmental 27 Central Research Institute.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation recalled that a special reagent "CoviGen-LAMR" is included in the new set of components. It provides guaranteed detection of coronavirus in clinical samples within 30 minutes from the moment of sampling. Earlier, training places with the necessary special equipment were deployed on the basis of 27 Central Research Institutes. There, military doctors are being trained in a new technique for detecting the RNA of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus.
At a meeting of the operational headquarters, representatives of the command of the districts and the Northern Fleet reported to Ruslan Tsalikov that all combat training activities are carried out in the troops in accordance with the approved plans. Thanks to the system of continuous testing and early detection of the disease, the situation in military units and military units is fully controlled.
"To date, cadets and students of higher military educational institutions, as well as students of pre-university institutions have returned from vacation vacations, all of them have passed mandatory continuous testing. Preventive and diagnostic measures were organized at the universities of the Ministry of Defense, thanks to which it was possible to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection among students. The educational process in all universities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation continues in accordance with the calendar schedule," the military department reported.
They recalled that now the Armed Forces are carrying out a planned revaccination of military personnel. 560,518 people have already passed it. At the meeting, the head of the operational headquarters Ruslan Tsalikov set a task - to form a stock of vaccines for revaccination of military personnel who are due for re-immunization.
The operational headquarters of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation to combat the new coronavirus infection was created by the decision of the head of the department Sergei Shoigu on March 12, 2020. This coordinating body is responsible for the implementation of a set of preventive and curative measures to prevent the spread of covid in the Russian Armed Forces.
