Rostov-on-Don. January 28. INTERFAX-SOUTH - Gunners of the 150th Division of the Southern Military District destroyed a unit of a conditional enemy in the Rostov region as part of planned exercises, the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
"Military personnel of artillery units of the 150th Motorized Rifle Division of the combined arms association of the Southern Military District in the Rostov region, as part of planned combat training exercises, practiced shooting at remote targets at a distance of up to 15 thousand meters from towed 2A65 Msta-B howitzers," the report says.
It is noted that the calculations were faced with the task of destroying the manpower and armored vehicles of a conditional enemy unit detected by unmanned aircraft. The coordinates of the targets were transferred to the 2A65 "Msta-B" towed howitzers division, which destroyed the imaginary enemy with accurate fire.
The task was complicated not only by the distance to the target, but also by ballistic and weather features affecting the accuracy of the shot.
