DUBNA (Moscow region), January 27 - RIA Novosti. For the Russian Aerospace Forces, an air control point for strike drones will be created, the commander-in-chief of the VKS Sergey Surovikin reported to the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoigu.
On Thursday, the Minister of Defense inspected the first specialized plant for the production of large-sized unmanned aerial vehicles built by the Kronstadt company in Dubna near Moscow.
Surovikin presented to the Minister a promising workplace for an operator of unmanned aerial vehicles, which provides control of 16 vehicles simultaneously.
Shoigu drew attention to the need to create an aerial control point for drones. "The same equipment will be installed in the air control center," Surovikin confirmed these plans.
The new production of drones in Dubna was also visited by the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov and the Governor of the Moscow Region Andrey Vorobyov.
