Moscow. January 27. INTERFAX - Rocket men of the Black Sea Fleet conducted an exercise in the Krasnodar Territory to repel the landing of enemy troops, the press service of the fleet reported.
"At the first stage of the exercise, the divisions of the Bal and Bastion anti-ship coastal missile systems made marches to designated areas at the Iron Horn training ground. Upon arrival at the training ground, the military personnel brought the complexes to battle, made their camouflage and engineering equipment of the positions. Further, the combat crews worked out the detection of surface targets of a conditional enemy and their defeat with the implementation of electronic missile launches," the press service reported.
According to her, large amphibious ships of the fleet acted as ships of the conditional enemy.
"On the Caucasian coast, along with the divisions of the DBK, calculations of the coastal self-propelled artillery complex "Bereg" were involved in the exercise," the press service noted.
As reported, the Black Sea Fleet is conducting an exercise in which more than 20 ships are involved "as part of heterogeneous groups, ship strike and search and strike groups, as well as a detachment of landing ships."
Earlier it was reported that, in accordance with the training plan of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for 2022, in January-February, a series of naval exercises is being held in all areas of responsibility of the fleets under the overall leadership of the Commander-in-Chief of the Navy Nikolai Evmenov.
The main focus of the exercises is to work out the actions of the Navy and Aerospace Forces to protect Russian national interests in the world Ocean, as well as to counter military threats to the Russian Federation from sea and ocean directions.
The exercises will cover the waters of the seas adjacent to the Russian territory, as well as operationally important areas of the World Ocean. Separate exercises will be held in the waters of the Mediterranean, Northern, Okhotsk Seas, in the northeastern part of the Atlantic Ocean and in the Pacific Ocean, the Russian military department informed.
