MOSCOW, January 27. /tass/. The crews of the operational-tactical aviation of the Western Military District (ZVO) have worked out the withdrawal of a conditional enemy from under attack. This was reported to journalists in the press service of the ZVO.
As specified in the district, as part of the combat readiness check, the crews worked out the relocation of aircraft to alternate airfields. "The flight and engineering staff of the operational and tactical aviation of the district have worked out the withdrawal of supermaneuverable Su-35S, Su-30SM and Su-34 bombers from permanent airfields from the enemy's missile and air strike," the press service noted.
Aviation flights, the district added, were conducted as part of squadrons and units with different take-off courses. "After the completion of the flight tasks, all aircraft and personnel were returned to their permanent bases," the ZVO said.
On Monday, the press service of the Western Military District reported that planned comprehensive combat readiness classes have begun in the Military District under the general guidance of the commander of the Military District, Colonel-General Alexander Zhuravlev. According to the commander, the main purpose of the events is a comprehensive check of the combat training of troops, the readiness of formations and military units to complete tasks in a short time, as well as an assessment of the level of combat training and coherence of units.
