Rostov-on-Don. January 26. INTERFAX-SOUTH - Units of the Marine Corps of the Caspian Flotilla (CFl) were raised on a training alert and began to march in a combined way to the Scorpion training ground (Dagestan), the press service of the Southern Military District reports.
"On the march, the servicemen worked out actions when overcoming areas of infected terrain, and also repelled attacks by conditional sabotage and reconnaissance groups. Upon arrival at the training ground, the units will work out a wide range of tasks, actions as part of units and as part of a compound," the message says.
It is noted that combat training will also be conducted with the use of various types of aviation, missile divisions and ship groups of the CFl.
Earlier it was reported that more than 6 thousand servicemen of the Southern Military District were raised on a training alert as part of the beginning of the combat readiness check of military units and formations.
