The Russian Defense Ministry told when and how the International Military-Technical Forum "Army", popular with experts and ordinary fans of the military show, will be held this year. By order of the Government of the Russian Federation, a large-scale demonstration of Russian weapons innovations will be organized from August 15 to 21.
The main screenings will be held in the Moscow region on the basis of the Congress and Exhibition Center, Patriot Park, Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield. By the beginning of the forum, a new modern pavilion with a total area of more than 6 thousand square meters should be put into operation.
More than 2.5 thousand enterprises and organizations from 129 countries were invited to participate in the "Army-2022". Belarus, India, Kazakhstan, Pakistan and Uzbekistan, in particular, will present their expositions there. To show the goods in person, a presentation of the best weapons and equipment of Russia will be arranged for potential buyers at the Alabino training ground and Kubinka airfield. "The most significant events of the scientific and business program of the forum will be two congresses organized jointly with the Russian government," said Pavel Popov, Deputy Defense Minister of the Russian Federation. The topic of the first one is "Strategic Leadership and Artificial Intelligence technologies". At the second stage, they will talk about the diversification of our defense industry.
On the sidelines of the Army-2022, the Russian Defense Ministry plans to sign state contracts with defense industry enterprises. And Rosoboronexport will conclude deals for the supply of our weapons and equipment abroad. In addition, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia will present at the forum an exposition designed to promote the application for holding the World Universal Exhibition EXPO-2030 in Moscow.
Simultaneously with the International Military-Technical Forum and the Army International Games in the Moscow region, the X Moscow Conference on International Security will be held for the first time at the main exhibition site of the Russian Ministry of Defense. Its opening is scheduled for August 14.
As usual, the Army forum will try to make it very spectacular. To do this, not only our famous air aces and test pilots of the aviation industry will be attracted to the dynamic display. A separate invitation was sent to the pilots of China, the UAE and South Korea. In addition to airplanes, drones will also take to the sky. Moreover, within the framework of the expanded program of the forum, it was decided to hold an annual competition for the management of drones and robotic complexes - the so-called "Dronbiathlon".
