"There were some delays in the supply of components, but by the end of 2021, we believe that the situation has stabilized. Therefore, we hope that 2022 will be more efficient and productive," the head of the enterprise said.
According to Baranov, last year was difficult due to coronavirus restrictions, and also became a consequence of 2020, when the first restrictions appeared due to the pandemic. Despite this, by the end of 2021, the company has reached "satisfactory results".
RCC Progress produces Soyuz-2 family launch vehicles. A promising Soyuz-5 rocket is also being created, for the production of which in 2019 the Industry Development Fund (VEB Group.The Russian Federation) provided the RCC with a preferential loan in the amount of 750 million rubles. The first launch is scheduled for 2023.
