Military Watch: Su-30SM fighters remain among the most dangerous in Europe
The Russian-made Su-30SM fighter was included among the most dangerous combat aircraft in Europe. The Su-30SM, which are in service with the Air Force (Air Force) of Belarus, are distinguished by a long flight range, writes Military Watch.
The publication notes that in Europe there is one of the main fronts for the use of combat aviation. The publication named the most dangerous fighters based in the region.
The fifth-generation F-35 Lightning II fighter-bomber, which is operated by the air forces of Norway, Italy, Belgium and the Netherlands, was included in the list of the publication. The publication also noted Italian and British F-35B.
In addition to the F-35, the rating included the F-16 Block 70/72, the French Dassault Rafale F3 and Eurofighter T4 with upgraded avionics and modern electronic warfare.
The only Russian-made aircraft in the Military Watch rating was the Su-30SM, which is in service with the Belarusian Air Force. The publication notes that Belarusian aircraft have the longest flight range among fighters based in Europe.
Last December, the FlightGlobal edition compiled the World Air Forces 2022 handbook. The publication noted that Russia ranks second in the world in terms of the number of fourth-generation fighters. The Su-27 and Su-30 account for more than seven percent of the global fleet of fighters.
