INTERFAX-SOUTH - The crews of the squadron of the newest Su-25SM3 attack aircraft of the aviation regiment of the Southern Military District, based in the Krasnodar Territory, destroyed the infrastructure of the airfield of the conditional enemy during the exercises, the press service of the Southern Military District reported on Monday.
"The servicemen performed piloting of aviation equipment under difficult meteorological conditions at different altitudes. As part of the combat link, the crews of the Su-25SM3 overcame the air defense system at extremely low altitude, launched guided missiles, fired from aviation cannons and dropped corrected aerial bombs on the positions of the "enemy" at one of the aviation ranges in the Kuban," the report says.
It is noted that more than 200 pilots, technicians and specialists of ground support services of the Southern Military District were involved in the event, more than 10 aircraft were involved.
