Tankers of the Southern Military District destroyed the armored vehicles of the conditional enemy during the exercises
Crews of Russian T-72B3M tanks of the 49th Army of the Southern Military District worked out the destruction of moving targets during exercises. Firing from the guns of tanks was shown on video. This is reported by Rossiyskaya Gazeta with reference to the press service of the Southern Federal District.
The shooting was carried out at the Nikolo-Alexandrovsky training ground. The publication notes that the crews have practiced shooting and performing basic maneuvers. Targets were hit from cover, from a place and in motion. The equipment of the conditional enemy was imitated by out-of-order armored vehicles.
The press service of the Southern Military District reported that the targets were at a distance of 2.5 to 3 kilometers from the firing position. Also, training mines were used at the training ground and smoke screens were installed.
Earlier, the commander of the Central Military District (CVO), Colonel-General Alexander Lapin, said that the T-72B3M tanks will be delivered to the Guards tank Division of the Central Military District.
