Moscow. January 22. INTERFAX - The training of groups countering unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) of a conditional enemy took place in a tank army stationed in the Nizhny Novgorod region, the Western Military District (ZVO) reported on Saturday.
"The servicemen practiced intercepting the control of a simulated enemy UAV and landing it on their territory in order to seize intelligence information," the report said.
According to the plan of the training, the air defense units discovered and escorted the "enemy" UAV, which "allegedly conducted reconnaissance of military facilities," the report says.
