TSAMTO, January 21. Two strategic missile carriers Tu-160 performed a planned flight in the airspace over the neutral waters of the Arctic Ocean, the Barents and White Seas for about 13 hours.
During the flight, the crews of the Tu-160 aircraft worked out refueling in the air.
Long-range aviation pilots regularly fly over the neutral waters of the Arctic, the North Atlantic, the Black and Baltic Seas, and the Pacific Ocean.
All flights of aircraft of the Russian Aerospace Forces are carried out in strict accordance with international rules for the use of airspace, according to the Department of Information and Mass Communications of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation.
