Helicopter pilots of a separate regiment of the Leningrad Army of the Air Force and Air Defense flew in difficult meteorological conditions. You can watch their flights on the video, which was presented by the press service of the Western Military District.
The military has worked out the basic and most complex techniques of piloting, flying at extremely low altitudes. In addition, they landed by instruments and performed maneuvers to escape from the means of destruction. The air crews flew multi-purpose transport helicopters Mi-8, reconnaissance and strike Mi-24 and Mi-28 "Night Hunter".
During the training flights, the helicopter pilots made more than 40 takeoffs and landings.
