Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. January 20. INTERFAX - FAR EAST - Combat swimmers of the Pacific Fleet (Pacific Fleet) worked out tasks on anti-sabotage defense in the Kamchatka Territory, the press service of the Pacific Fleet reported on Thursday.
"During the training, the special forces servicemen practiced diving descents to various depths from the ice surface, the exit of the diving group from under the ice and the destruction of a simulated enemy using special weapons and imitation means, as well as underwater combat skills," the report says.
The military conducted a search for conditional saboteurs and underwater caches in the area of the ships' bases. In addition, training firing was carried out from the SPP-1 underwater pistol and a special APS underwater submachine gun.
